The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), is one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world and the biggest charitable fund helping to protect, promote, and advance a strong, unified veterinary profession that meets the needs of society. This is achieved by providing medical care of injured or abandoned animals; disaster relief efforts; education; and research to help prevent, diagnose, and treat animal diseases.
While already a proud supporter of the AVMF Disaster Relief Fund, with your help, My Vet and Pets
hopes to continue to donate to this fund, which provides veterinarians with a simple and effective way to offer charitable veterinary services to clients facing personal hardships as well as a means to support animals who are injured or rescued from abuse and neglect at low or no-cost services to avoid surrender or euthanasia of their beloved pets. Charitable care is provided to disabled veterans requiring a service dog, low Income senior citizens, good Samaritans, who rescue domesticated animals, victims of domestic violence.
Funding to support the VCCF program comes directly from
donations of the clients of the participating clinics to provide medical care for animals in their local communities.
This allows you to directly contribute to the medical needs of pets in your own community. Please call us to get involved.
The SpcaLA is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization
serving Southern California since 1877.
